TL;DR
Cloud Solutions Architect (Google Cloud): Designing tailored cloud solutions and proofs of concept for customer workloads with an accent on Google Cloud architecture, data infrastructure, and pre-sales technical leadership. Focus on solving complex migration and workload challenges, demonstrating NetApp solutions, and guiding successful handovers to Professional Services and Customer Success.
Location: South Korea or Taiwan; hybrid working with some in-office and/or in-person expectations.

What you will do
- Qualify customer opportunities and design tailored solutions using products in Google Cloud.
- Present solutions at customer and partner briefings, sales meetings, and industry events.
- Develop and execute proofs of concept for software, hardware, and cloud-based solutions.
- Coordinate handovers of new customer wins to Professional Services and Customer Success.
- Host industry meet-ups and user groups while building customer and community relationships.
- Track customer opportunity status in Salesforce and maintain knowledge of public cloud services and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Strong cloud technology foundation with deep Google Cloud expertise.
- Experience working with customers in the as-a-Service space and running pre-sales proofs of concept.
- In-depth knowledge of Network Attached Storage and cloud workloads such as SAP, HPC, virtual desktops, and VMware.
- Familiarity with container orchestration runtime concepts and Kubernetes.
- Experience with on-premises infrastructure and data migration methodologies is advantageous.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Korean or Chinese and English are required.
