Commodity Buyer (f/m/d)

Location: Arcugnano, Italy

Minimum salary: €35,000 gross per year. Final compensation depends on qualifications, experience, education, and alignment with the role's responsibilities.

What you will do

• Collaborate on cross-location product group strategies, including global sourcing, strategic cooperation, and volume bundling.
• Manage and develop the supplier portfolio to achieve required price, delivery, quality, process, technology, and risk targets.
• Initiate procurement processes, collect market and supplier information, compare prices, and coordinate delivery options with business requirements.
• Negotiate quantities, prices, delivery dates, and commercial conditions, and prepare contract data and purchasing agreements.
• Improve procurement efficiency by configuring SAP automation, order books, info record automation, and connected EDI suppliers.
• Handle initial escalations involving quality and delivery issues, invoice discrepancies, claims, and price or condition deviations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing.
• Technical or business studies, or comparable training and professional experience.
• Business-fluent English required.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM).
• Proficiency with standard Microsoft software.
