Internship - Procurement Specialist (Smart Buildings)

Location: Vittuone, Milano, Italy; hybrid work model

hirify.global's Smart Buildings division develops energy distribution, building automation, safety, security, and comfort technologies for residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial buildings.

What you will do

• Monitor supplier performance during new equipment development and new product introduction.
• Manage procurement documentation and conduct benchmarking and supplier scouting across metal, electronics, and plastics categories.
• Support project teams in coordinating suppliers with hirify.global's NPI activities.
• Monitor project execution and help suppliers meet GANTT schedule milestones.
• Create tools or AI agents to improve project buyer activity management.
• Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, R&D, quality, planning and fulfilment, and engineering colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Electrotechnic Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent communication in both Italian and English.
• Proactive, dynamic, broad-minded, and result-oriented approach.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP.
