Project Manager-PMO (HR)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; at least four days per week in the office and up to one day working from home

Base salary: $93,400–$128,400 per year, plus potential variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead medium- to large-scale projects supporting strategic Human Resources initiatives from concept through implementation, testing, and post-implementation.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, deliverables, and success measures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using the company’s project management system.
• Coordinate business partners, vendors, technology teams, project staff, and cross-organizational resources.
• Manage communications, status reporting, financials, change control, risks, issues, decisions, assumptions, and contingency planning.
• Escalate critical issues and provide project leadership to support timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years of experience leading medium- to large-scale projects through successful completion and implementation.
• Experience with industry-standard project management methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
• Strong verbal and written communication, meeting facilitation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid United States work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship requirements is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting HR applications such as Workday, ServiceNow, or Cornerstone.
• Experience in financial services, including broker-dealer, asset management, or insurance environments.
• Project Management Professional certification.
