Senior Packaging Delivery Leader, Habitat Care

Location: Hybrid role based at the Mason Business Center, requiring 3–4 days per week in the office; domestic supplier and contract-manufacturer travel is required approximately once a month, with occasional international travel.

Salary: $110,000–$165,300 per year, plus bonus if applicable and benefits.

Procter & Gamble is developing Habitat Care, a new business venture focused on expanding categories and brands beyond its traditional market presence.

What you will do

• Lead validation of new packaging materials and product formats on production lines.
• Create technical specifications and documentation for Engineering Orders, validations, and project milestones.
• Optimize production-line packaging processes to improve quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Develop pack-out configurations that improve product quality, automation readiness, operating speed, material cost, and shipping efficiency.
• Investigate material issues, qualify suppliers and materials, and support cost-saving and business-continuity projects.
• Coordinate packaging delivery activities across manufacturing, pack development, R&D, design, purchasing, initiative teams, and commercial groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, electrical, chemical, packaging, or materials science.
• 5+ years of packaging development and delivery experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in packaging materials and processes, including blow molding, bundling, corrugated board, devices, e-commerce, films, folding cartons, injection molding, and labels.
• Knowledge of Method of Packaging Development principles and secondary packing/end-of-line operations.
• Experience leading complex initiatives, developing technical readiness roadmaps, and managing structured packaging specifications and component linkages.
• Strong project management, analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Enovia software.
• Experience working in a new and evolving business unit.
