Senior Manager of Package Development & Accessories (Beauty Packaging)

Location: West Hollywood, California, United States; hybrid work with attendance at the corporate office at least 60% of the time

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus plan

What you will do

• Lead packaging and promotional product development from innovation and sourcing through sampling, testing, production, and launch readiness.
• Develop custom-branded merchandise, gifting items, limited-edition products, and promotional accessories aligned with brand campaigns.
• Partner with Marketing, Events, Education, Creative, Project Management, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Procurement teams.
• Create and maintain bills of materials, packaging specifications, assembly instructions, supplier briefs, quotations, and production standards.
• Review packaging structures, materials, artwork, prototypes, renderings, and samples to ensure quality and accurate execution.
• Research materials, technologies, consumer trends, and sustainability innovations while resolving technical, supply, quality, cost, and timeline risks.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in packaging development, promotional product development, consumer products, beauty, retail, or a related industry.
• Demonstrated experience developing and commercializing branded promotional products and packaging programs.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, printing technologies, and promotional merchandise sourcing.
• Experience managing global suppliers and manufacturing partners, including quotations and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles, packaging regulations, testing methodologies, and quality systems.
• Strong project management, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, organization, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and packaging specification systems.
