Junior - Mid Level Cost Analyst

Location: Hybrid role based in Lexington Park, Maryland, United States

Salary: $50,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Conduct and support life-cycle cost estimates, program office budgets, contract proposals, and other cost products.
• Perform monthly and quarterly analysis of cost-related CDRLs submitted by industry partners.
• Provide analytical support for program controls, reporting, financial execution, and budgets.
• Coordinate results with other organizations and contractors and defend analytical conclusions.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in cost analysis or cost estimating.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• 24 semester hours of quantitative coursework, including three hours of college-level calculus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint, and in cost-estimating software such as ACEIT or Crystal Ball.
• Experience with life-cycle cost-estimate development, risk and uncertainty analysis, model documentation, proposal analysis, CSDR, and CDRLs.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, and cost-estimating best practices; DoD Secret Clearance required.
