Medical Assistant / LPN - Family Medicine Manchester - Full Time

Location: Manchester - 130 Tarrytown Road; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, day shift

What you will do

• Prepare patient charts and organize diagnostic results, reports, and consultation records for provider visits.
• Room patients by documenting chief complaints, allergies, vital signs, medications, tobacco history, LMP, and health maintenance information.
• Perform hearing, vision, respiratory, ECG, depression, and asthma screenings.
• Collect and process specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and conduct venipuncture as needed.
• Administer medications and immunizations through appropriate routes.
• Process prescription refills and prior authorizations, and maintain clinical supplies and medication samples.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MA I candidates must complete an accredited MA program, MA training program with externship, or have qualifying healthcare training or experience.
• MA II candidates must have at least three years of Medical Assistant experience.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification is preferred for MA I and required for MA II.
• BLS authorization must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
• Relevant healthcare experience is required; ambulatory clinical care experience is preferred.
