Global Procurement Manager – Closures, Triggers & Lids (Packaging): Developing and executing global sourcing strategies for closures, dispensing systems, triggers, pumps, caps, and lids across multiple regions with an accent on cost optimization, supplier performance, innovation, sustainability, and supply assurance. Focus on leading complex negotiations, managing approximately $100 million in annual spend, mitigating supplier-network risks, and partnering with Packaging, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Sustainability, and Finance teams.
Location: Tlalnepantla de Baz, Mexico; onsite role

What you will do
- Develop and execute multi-year global category strategies for closures, triggers, pumps, caps, lids, and other rigid packaging components.
- Lead supplier selection, qualification, segmentation, relationship management, and sourcing initiatives across multiple regions.
- Drive cost savings, value engineering, supplier consolidation, productivity, and total-cost-of-ownership programs.
- Lead complex global and regional negotiations and manage supplier performance through cost, quality, delivery, innovation, sustainability, and service KPIs.
- Develop risk mitigation and business continuity plans to maintain a resilient and sustainable supply base.
- Partner with Packaging, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Sustainability, and Finance on innovation launches, packaging conversions, and product changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Procurement, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Supply Chain.
- Experience managing packaging categories such as plastics, closures, dispensing systems, or rigid packaging components.
- Experience leading supplier negotiations and managing multi-million-dollar spend categories.
- Experience working in global or multi-regional environments.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing methodologies, and supplier performance management.
