Plant Buyer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Querétaro, Mexico

What you will do

• Source and purchase materials, supplies, and services required for plant operations.
• Develop supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings.
• Monitor inventory levels, process purchase orders, and coordinate timely deliveries for production schedules.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to verify that materials meet required standards and specifications.
• Conduct cost analysis and market research, ensure procurement compliance, and report on supplier performance and savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with quality control and other cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
