Sr Software Engineer (C/C++)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable software-defined storage components with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Lead technical design discussions, evaluate trade-offs, build prototypes, and deliver product features from concept through release.
• Review code, troubleshoot complex system-level issues, and improve scalability, stability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, product management, support, and field teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Plan and execute product releases, including feature development, defect resolution, and release readiness.
• Maintain accurate and usable technical documentation and report project progress, risks, dependencies, and accomplishments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with file systems, concurrency, multithreading, server architectures, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience developing and debugging system-level software in C/C++ for Linux/UNIX environments.
• Experience developing and debugging scale-out and high-availability storage solutions.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent related experience.

Nice to have

• Hadoop product development experience.
