What you will do

• Build new backend connectivity services that powers millions of VMs running on Databricks.
• Lead the design and development of new services that powers the connectivity between our control plane and compute plane.
• Increase scalability of our compute plane while also efficiently use cloud resources.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and other engineering teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of production level experience in one of: Python, Java, Scala, C++, or similar language
• 7+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch
• Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures.
• Extensive experience working in the Networking domain
