Lead Software Engineer

Location: Pune, India; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Design and develop reusable geometry, visualization, and simulation software components.
• Architect innovative solutions and take technical ownership of projects.
• Use configuration management systems, build processes, debuggers, and CI/CD tools throughout software development.
• Create and execute test automation frameworks and functionality.
• Maintain the quality of components shared across multiple products.
• Follow coding standards and development methodologies while working with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 7+ years of experience programming in C, C++, or Python, including exposure to client-server programming.
• Working knowledge of C# or Java and multithreading.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of software component architecture, reusable APIs, object-oriented programming, build systems, debugging, and software architecture.
• Experience with a test framework such as GoogleTest or PyTest, plus release and build automation using Azure Git Pipelines.

Nice to have

• Low-level understanding of geometry and visualization software development.
• CAD/CAM/CAE domain expertise.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding.
