Acquisition Analyst

Location: On-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, United States

Salary: $80,000–$130,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Act as a liaison between Contracting Officers and Program Management offices.
• Review, track, draft, and submit contract correspondence and evaluations for contractual compliance and accuracy.
• Prepare acquisition requirements packages, including Statements of Work, specifications, IGCEs, market research, and market surveys.
• Develop RFQs, RFPs, source-selection plans, Justifications and Approvals, acquisition plans, and related program documentation.
• Manage contract databases, invoices, budgets, Contract Line Item Numbers, reporting, metrics, and contract lifecycle activities.
• Track contract issues, participate in financial status reviews and surveillance, and support special projects.

Requirements

• Experience at the mid-level through senior analyst level, with the ability to lead or substantially contribute to complex projects.
• Strong communication, quantitative, research, analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and contractual language interpretation.
• Experience supporting Government Program Managers and Contracting Officer Representatives with pre-solicitation requirement packages and procurement coordination.
• Experience developing PWS/SOWs, QASPs, IGCEs, memorandums, approval documents, and other acquisition documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
