Acquisition and Contract Support Specialist (GEOINT Ground)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia; onsite with no remote or telework allowed

Projected compensation range: $134,105.03–$233,182.62 annually. The posting also lists $5,000.

What you will do

• Develop, review, and manage acquisition documents, including SOWs, IGCEs, and RFPs.
• Advise program stakeholders on IDIQ, OTA, and other complex contract strategies.
• Coordinate with Contracting Officers, government stakeholders, industry partners, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams.
• Support source selection, industry days, contract awards, contract execution, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain acquisition records, ensure audit readiness, and identify and mitigate risks such as organizational conflicts of interest.
• Review systems engineering documentation and coordinate acquisition, agile, and engineering activities across program threads.

Requirements

• Active and maintainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12–15 years of experience, master’s degree with 10–13 years, or Ph.D. with 10+ years.
• Experience with Intelligence Community or DoD acquisition policies, IDIQ, OTA, and other complex contract structures.
• Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and relevant acquisition regulations.
• Ability to align acquisition strategies with program objectives and manage complex documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Former Contracting Officer experience or hands-on government contract management experience.
• Knowledge of NGA and NRO acquisition processes, GEOINT systems, and ground systems.
• Experience with systems engineering and integration lifecycles, SAFe agile methodology, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with acquisition software tools and platforms.
