TL;DR
Trading Analyst (Retail Pricing) (SAP/Excel): Analyzing and optimizing pricing, discounts, and promotional activity for Kate Spade’s European Outlet and Retail business with an accent on sales, inventory, AUR, discount rate, and margin performance. Focus on executing weekly price changes, building data-driven trading recommendations, coordinating clearance strategies, and maintaining accurate promotional calendars and approvals.
Location: Greater London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with Tuesday–Thursday in the office and Monday and Friday remotely. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Develop pricing and promotional strategies with Buying Managers to improve sales, inventory, AUR, discount rate, and margin KPIs.
- Execute weekly system price changes, markdowns, approvals, and pricing master-file updates across product areas.
- Analyze pricing and promotional performance and provide data-driven recommendations and scenarios for in-season trading.
- Coordinate clearance-period pricing, including Black Friday and end-of-season markdowns, while considering market restrictions.
- Maintain promotional calendars, trade reports, trackers, and audit documentation, communicating changes to Buying, Marketing, Stores, and Store Operations.
- Support financial planning and merchandising analysis across Retail, Outlet, Ecommerce, and Marketplace channels.
Requirements
- Experience in pricing analysis, merchandising, planning, or financial analysis, ideally in retail.
- Proficiency in SAP is essential.
- Knowledge of the European retail landscape, full-price or outlet pricing models, and trading laws related to pricing.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and SUMIF for analytical tools and reports.
- Analytical problem-solving ability, commercial acumen, and understanding of retail maths and key performance metrics.
- Existing UK right to work required; visa sponsorship is not available.
