What you will do

• Track and analyse market-moving corporate events, including M&A, IPOs, and public company news.
• Extract and accurately summarise information from company announcements, regulatory filings, and investor materials.
• Build clean, auditable calculations and simple scenarios to frame risks and potential outcomes.
• Write concise research notes for a professional audience, focusing on material developments and potential changes.
• Validate internal tools and workflows, identifying errors, edge cases, and missing assumptions.
• Improve research processes, templates, and data quality.

Requirements

• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, structured thinking, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work under time pressure with incomplete information and prioritise important signals.
• Clear written communication and strong prioritisation skills.
• Quantitative fluency in basic probability, compounding, and scenario analysis.
• Strong interest in financial markets and corporate actions, especially M&A and IPOs.
• Strong academic performance.

Nice to have

• Exposure to research, investing, or event-driven market analysis through internships, coursework, or personal projects.
• Experience with Python, Excel, Sheets, or similar analytical tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory filings and primary-source research.
• Additional languages, particularly European languages.
