Assistant Merchandiser (Fashion Ecommerce)

Location: Hybrid role based at the hirify.global HQ in London, with at least 3 days a week in the office.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day trading and performance for a branded product area.
• Forecast sales, stock, and intake to deliver departmental sales, stock, and profit targets.
• Analyse trading performance, identify commercial opportunities and risks, and implement actions against KPIs.
• Support assortment and range planning with Buying teams and brand partners.
• Drive stock optimisation, own WSSI management, and contribute to departmental trade plans.
• Prepare recommendations for weekly trade meetings and coach Merchandising Administrators and Assistant Merchandisers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in fashion, retail, or ecommerce.
• Experience with weekly sales forecasting, stock planning, and intake management.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills, attention to detail, and confidence interpreting data.
• Experience owning a category and presenting recommendations in trade meetings.
• Ability to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with merchandising systems and reporting tools.
