Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuclear Medicine/Radiology): Performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment with an accent on radiation safety, accurate imaging protocols, and patient care. Focus on independently operating radiology equipment, maintaining quality control, coordinating care, and training students or technologists.
Location: Onsite at Tufts Medical Center; Tuesday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

What you will do
- Perform assigned nuclear medicine procedures independently according to departmental policies and radiological standards.
- Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, examination steps, and scanner parameters.
- Provide clear patient instructions and coordinate care with other departments and service lines.
- Maintain patient and staff safety, perform equipment quality control, and keep work areas functional.
- Maintain supplies and support ongoing education, training, and instruction for students and technologists.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification through NMTCB or ARRT.
- Eligibility for a state Nuclear Medicine Technologist license.
- Four years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to stand frequently, walk, lift 30–35 pounds, operate radiology equipment, and work around bodily fluids and communicable diseases.
