Student Imaging Tech (Radiology)

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. Per diem onsite schedule covering days, evenings, and rotating weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; no call requirement.

What you will do

• Review patient information, reconcile imaging orders, and complete documentation, consents, and questionnaires.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams, including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast, and invasive procedures, under supervision.
• Evaluate image quality, document exams, and present studies to Radiologists.
• Assist with invasive fluoroscopic procedures and prepare or administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast according to protocol.
• Transport and position patients, operate portable X-ray equipment, and support CT Technologists with pre- and post-exam care.
• Apply ALARA radiation-safety practices, use shielding and safety equipment, operate RIS and PACS, and protect patient confidentiality under HIPAA.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with diverse patient populations.
• Compassionate, patient-centered communication with patients and clinical teams.
• Ability to learn, adapt, and follow direction from registered technologists and Radiologists.
