CT/MRI Technologist - PRN

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States. PRN, as-needed schedule supporting the Dallas Imaging and Infusion Center.

What you will do

• Perform CT and MRI procedures as ordered while maintaining a high level of technical quality.
• Advise physicians on the appropriateness of additional or modified imaging studies.
• Prepare and escort patients, assist with dressings when needed, and complete service documentation.
• Conduct daily quality-control checks, report equipment malfunctions, and arrange preventive maintenance.
• Manage radiologic films, including requests, releases, tracking, and confidential records.
• Follow patient, employee, equipment, and regulatory safety standards, including protection from ionizing radiation.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school.
• At least three years of experience as a CT/MRI Technologist for Level 1; five years for Level 2 and seven years for Senior level.
• Registered radiologic technologist certification through ARRT is required.
• Current IV and CPR certifications are required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and assist with positioning patients weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Ability to work with patients and operate equipment while standing or sitting for extended periods.
