Engineering Technician IV (Electrical Testing)

Location: Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama, United States; onsite work with 5% travel to local and other CONUS DoD test ranges.

What you will do

• Provide electrician support for operations in and around test stands and fixtures.
• Operate and maintain equipment used for test support.
• Plan, set up, install, troubleshoot, and maintain range electrical and fiber lines.
• Support senior engineers and technicians during test operations.
• Travel to local test ranges and other CONUS Department of Defense test ranges as required.

Requirements

• Seven years of applicable experience supporting engineering, design, or hardware testing in the relevant specialty; alternatively, applicable college, vocational, military, or technical education combined with four years of relevant experience.
• Commercial and industrial electrical experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret government security clearance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver's license.
• Full-time availability and ability to work onsite at Redstone Arsenal.
