Associate Merchant - Carbonated Soft Drinks (Retail)

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; home office

Salary: $70,000–$130,000 annual, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Support supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned carbonated soft drink categories.
• Resolve supplier issues and coordinate new supplier setup for stores and online channels.
• Execute customer communication and education programs with cross-functional partners.
• Maintain accurate product page content according to taxonomy and search guidelines.
• Analyze category performance to support budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting.
• Support promotional planning, modular assortment implementation, and inventory decisions.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or a related area.
• Experience with vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations in retail or a related sector.
• Skills in category strategy, product assortment planning, data analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Experience managing purchase orders and resolving supplier-related issues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in item setup and content accuracy.
• Commitment to company policies, ethical standards, and customer-focused results.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with pricing, site merchandising, planning, or inventory.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or merchandising.
