Postdoctoral Researcher (Process Safety)

What you will do

• Conduct research in quantitative risk assessment, process hazards reviews, and process safety management systems.
• Perform process system safety analysis, including fault detection and diagnosis.
• Support graduate and undergraduate students with research and academic papers.
• Develop research proposals and participate in presentations to secure funding.
• Assist with Center operations and organize workshops and symposiums.
• Perform related research duties assigned by the principal investigator or project leader.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree required.
• Advanced knowledge in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
• Employment requires completion of Form I-9 and proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Resume or CV, three professional references including at least one supervisor or former supervisor, and a letter of interest.

Nice to have

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Oil and Gas Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in systems modeling and analysis, process safety, risk engineering, or reliability engineering.
