Salary: $81,400–$153,500 per year, plus discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

  • Perform risk-focused financial analysis to assess insurers’ financial condition and compliance with laws, regulations, and NAIC standards.
  • Analyze holding company systems and support group-supervision services.
  • Review regulatory filings and applications involving acquisitions, transactions, dividends, restructurings, licensing, and market expansion.
  • Support troubled-company situations and recommend actions to improve insurer solvency and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee analytical quality, documentation, priority assessments, and timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide feedback to RRC and client financial analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of relevant experience as a financial analyst, accountant, auditor, examiner, or equivalent professional.
  • Insurance industry or insurance regulatory experience is required.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, review others’ work critically, and provide clear supervision and actionable feedback.
  • Ability to routinely work from home and travel periodically.

Nice to have

  • Accredited Financial Examiner, Certified Financial Examiner, or Certified Public Accountant designation.
  • Experience using TeamMate.
  • MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
