Senior Specialist Regulatory Strategy & Readiness

Location: Remote - Nationwide within the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Base salary: $72,200–$101,975 per year, plus potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments from the SEC, FINRA, DOL, state regulators, and other authorities.
• Assess regulatory applicability, business impact, risk significance, urgency, and supervisory expectations.
• Support regulatory examinations, inquiries, mock examinations, readiness assessments, tabletop exercises, and thematic reviews.
• Prepare regulatory intelligence summaries, executive briefings, dashboards, metrics, and governance materials.
• Maintain regulatory inventories, examination playbooks, readiness checklists, issue logs, action plans, and remediation evidence.
• Coordinate cross-functional workplans, track deliverables, escalate emerging risks, and support regulatory strategy initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, risk, compliance, public policy, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial services compliance, regulatory affairs, legal, risk management, audit, or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks and the ability to interpret complex regulatory materials.
• Strong research, analytical, writing, presentation, project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate findings to senior audiences.
• U.S. work authorization for any employer is required; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulatory change management, workflow, dashboard, or data visualization tools.
• Experience supporting regulatory examinations, mock examinations, readiness assessments, or regulatory change programs.
• Background in broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, insurance, banking, or diversified financial services organizations.
• Experience preparing executive-level regulatory reporting and dashboards.
