Senior Product Support Engineer (Aerospace and Defense)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; hybrid or office environment with extended OCONUS deployments and approximately 60/60 rotation.

What you will do

• Provide expert technical support for product and system prototypes.
• Lead product installation, testing, and validation projects.
• Diagnose critical technical issues and defects and implement corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and conduct customer needs assessments.
• Lead product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical workshops.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive improvements to product support processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; a relevant higher degree may substitute for experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technical support or engineering, with expert troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications, personal computers, product installation, and testing.
• Ability to deploy to various OCONUS locations, work extended hours, holidays, and shifts, and complete TDY assignments.
• Active Top Secret U.S. security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations; a valid passport and ability to obtain international travel visas are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced prototype or concept product development experience.
• Aerospace and Defense industry, government, or U.S. military experience.
• RF, vehicle installation and maintenance, communications-system integration, or military logistics experience.
• Six Sigma or PMP certification and organizational leadership experience.
