Underground Power and Communications Equipment Operator (Heavy Equipment)

Location: State of Wisconsin; travel required

What you will do

• Operate equipment on telecommunications and deenergized buried power construction projects.
• Maneuver, navigate, and safely operate mini-excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, and dozers.
• Move materials and equipment throughout construction sites.
• Support the installation of underground power transmission, power distribution, renewable energy, and communication networks.
• Travel as required for project work.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of experience operating mini-excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, or dozers.
• Willingness to work under a union collective bargaining agreement.
• Valid driver license for the vehicles operated and an acceptable driving record.
• Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement, or the ability to obtain one.
• Must work in Wisconsin and be available for required travel.
