Trenchless Mechanic (Diesel and Hydraulic Equipment)

What you will do

• Repair and maintain horizontal directional drill rigs, tunneling equipment, mud systems, mud pumps, and power units.
• Service large diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumps, and motors.
• Test equipment and perform preventive maintenance, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, filter replacement, and hydraulic testing.
• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
• Identify mechanical problems, complete repairs, and prepare equipment to return to work.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to provide personal hand tools.
• Valid driver license for the vehicle types operated and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and collaborate with teammates.

Nice to have

• At least 6 months of welding experience.
• Completion of a diesel equipment mechanical technical program.
