Equipment Traveling Mechanic

Location: Atlanta, GA; Brownsville, WI corporate office; Des Moines, IA; Fargo, ND; Jacksonville, FL; Omaha, NE; Sioux Falls, SD. Travel is required.

What you will do

• Inspect vehicles and heavy construction equipment to identify defective components.
• Repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain service operations across traveling project locations.
• Perform work involving hydraulics, drivetrains, controls, and electronic diagnostics.
• Collaborate with teammates while working independently and meeting tight deadlines.
• Support safe, reliable equipment operation.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school plus six months of experience, or at least two years of related experience and/or training.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicle types operated and an acceptable driving record.
• Federal Medical Card.
• Travel is required.

Nice to have

• Aerial equipment experience.
• Experience with DOT inspections, hydraulics, drivetrains, controls, and electronic diagnostics.
