Location: Bedford, New Hampshire, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you will do

  • Prepare patient charts and ensure diagnostic results, reports, and consultations are available to providers.
  • Room patients by documenting complaints, allergies, vital signs, medications, tobacco history, LMP, and health maintenance information.
  • Perform measurements, hearing and vision tests, respiratory and ECG testing, screenings, and point-of-care testing.
  • Collect and process specimens, perform venipuncture as needed, and administer medications and immunizations.
  • Process prescription refills and prior authorizations according to established guidelines.
  • Manage clinical supplies and medication samples, maintaining appropriate storage, labeling, and stock levels.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Medical Assistant I: completion of an accredited or qualifying MA training program, or relevant healthcare experience with formal training; one year of relevant healthcare experience is required.
  • Medical Assistant II: at least three years of Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required.
  • Medical Assistant I: BLS authorization required within 90 days of employment and throughout employment; CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
  • Experience in an ambulatory clinical care setting is preferred.
