Location: On-site at the Center in Maplewood, Minnesota, at least four days per week. Travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Compensation: $124,127–$151,710 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay where eligible.

What you will do
- Lead programs to improve quality, reduce costs, qualify alternate sources of supply, and expand automotive bonding and sealing products.
- Lead cross-functional change management projects for existing products and product line extensions.
- Support the development and maintenance of structural bonding tapes, weatherstrip tapes, acrylic foam tapes, and related products.
- Support new product introduction teams with product implementation and launch activities.
- Work with quality and plant teams to resolve customer complaints and improve product and process understanding.
- Collaborate with plant professionals, global laboratory personnel, and business teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
- At least three years of product engineering or product development experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
- Experience with product quality, product development, or process engineering in a professional, government, or military environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Maplewood, Minnesota, at least four days per week.
Nice to have
- Master’s or Ph.D. in materials, polymer chemistry, chemistry, or chemical engineering.
- Five years of experience in product engineering, process engineering, project engineering, project management, or research laboratory work.
- Experience in the tape industry, material qualification, pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, structural tapes, or acrylic chemistry.
- Experience with coating, radiation processing, or extrusion processes.
- Knowledge of regulated products, product risk assessments, product safety, product reliability, and product or process liners.
