Account Executive, Entry Level

Location: Utica, New York, United States

Salary: $40,000–$60,000 per year, plus commission.

Broadcast television stations WUTR and WFXV and Nexstar Digital Agency Services provide television, streaming TV, app, retargeting, and website advertising.

What you will do

• Develop and increase sales volume for television and digital advertising.
• Prospect, qualify, close, and grow new business.
• Build credible relationships within the business community and educate customers about available advertising products.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and develop advertising and promotional campaigns with clients and station personnel.
• Manage order entry, contracts, follow-up, collections, and client creative elements.
• Implement sales strategies to grow revenue and exceed goals.

Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proficiency with popular social media and digital platforms.
• Sales experience is preferred; full sales training is provided.
• Successful employment requires pre-employment criminal and driving background checks.
