Senior Insurance Manager (Real Estate)

Location: London, United Kingdom; office attendance required at least four days per week, with up to one day working from home

What you will do

• Manage the UK Real Estate Insurance programme, including acquisition onboarding, disposal offboarding, property renewals, and ad hoc policy placements.
• Oversee brokers, claims handlers, insurance valuers, and other key vendors while driving service improvements through contract reviews.
• Manage the Risk Management Information System and develop efficiencies and performance reporting, including loss-ratio and rate benchmarking.
• Support the Senior Director, Insurance & Financing with risk and insurance advice for corporate departments, including Legal, RFP, and Communications.
• Lead tender processes and handle insurance and risk-management queries from solicitors, tenants, and managing agents.
• Support European Real Estate insurance programme integration and promote risk management across client and operational properties.

Requirements

• Experience in risk management and insurance within a financial services organisation.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance products and policies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, financial reporting, project management, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively.
• Computer literacy and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in the London office at least four days per week.
