Salary: $162,773.52–$207,541.52 annually

What you will do

• Lead strategic, operational, workforce, and quality initiatives across pharmacy services.
• Provide executive oversight for inpatient, clinical, ambulatory, investigational drug, and medication-use operations.
• Advise medical center leadership on pharmacy practice, medication safety, operational performance, and workforce planning.
• Lead quality improvement, risk reduction, patient safety, innovation, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement programs.
• Partner with physicians, nursing leaders, researchers, and academic departments on clinical, research, residency, and education missions.
• Manage budgets, productivity, resource allocation, supply chain, revenue cycle, formulary management, procurement, and 340B objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Massachusetts pharmacist license required.
• At least five years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of pharmacy practice, medication-use systems, medication safety, regulatory compliance, and healthcare delivery.
• Expertise in strategic planning, financial management, organizational change, performance improvement, and cross-functional leadership.
• Strong communication, negotiation, consensus-building, talent development, and executive relationship-management skills.

Nice to have

• PharmD and completion of general and specialty pharmacy residencies.
• Seven years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience.
• Master’s degree in a health-related field or business administration.
• Executive leadership experience across clinical, operational, financial, academic, and healthcare administration environments.
• Experience in a complex academic medical center supporting research, residency training, professional education, and scholarly activity.
