Associate Scientist Process Control - Water Micro

Location: Onsite in Dungarvan, County Waterford, Ireland. Full-time schedule with required weekend work, either Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, plus participation in overtime and on-call/call-out schedules.

Salary: €35,000–€45,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis of customer samples accurately and efficiently.
• Complete test records on time in accordance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Conduct water testing and environmental monitoring activities using assigned techniques.
• Support quality and service improvement projects, including root cause analysis and exception reporting.
• Maintain training records, develop competency in assigned tests, and train colleagues where qualified.
• Provide operational cover and work flexibly across business areas to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in a scientific discipline.
• Experience with water testing and environmental monitoring techniques.
• Strong accuracy, organisation, documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to quality, customer service, SOP compliance, and traceable records.
• Flexibility to work the required weekend schedule, overtime, and on-call or call-out shifts.
