QC Microbiology Technician (Biotechnology)

Location: Shanbally, Shanbally Cross, Co. Cork, Ireland; onsite, Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00, 39 hours per week

What you will do

• Perform routine environmental monitoring of GMP areas.
• Sample water systems, including WFI, RIW, and Clean Steam, and perform Media Fill reads.
• Carry out laboratory support activities and manage samples in accordance with GMP procedures.
• Use LIMS and MODA to track samples and test results accurately.
• Support equipment maintenance and calibration scheduling.
• Investigate and own quality records while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• BSc or Diploma in Microbiology or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Working knowledge of cGMP requirements in regulated environments.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and high-quality documentation practices.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities in a dynamic quality-control setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
