Contract Compliance & Financial Operations Specialist (Risk & Financial Operations)

Location: Remote for US-based candidates; Farmington, Connecticut preferred

Compensation: $95,400–$163,900 annually, plus discretionary bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Oversee contract intake, review, approval workflows, amendments, and compliance documentation.
• Support partners and engagement leaders with risk mitigation and liaison activities involving the Office of Risk Management.
• Analyze revenue, utilization, margins, realization, engagement performance, forecasts, and budget data.
• Prepare financial summaries, variance analyses, monitoring reports, and leadership presentations.
• Execute engagement finance controls, document exceptions, perform quality assurance reviews, and maintain SharePoint records.
• Guide compliance staff, support training, and recommend workflow and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10+ years of relevant experience in consulting or professional services.
• Experience with contracts, risk considerations, operational processes, financial analysis, and engagement economics.
• Prior supervisory or team-guidance experience, including support for partners, directors, or senior executives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and business tools such as Power BI, Workday, and ServiceNow.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, communication, organization, proofreading, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, adapt to change, and work overtime when required.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Insurance industry experience.
• Experience with a Big 4 or other large professional services firm.
