TL;DR

Surplus Lines Tax Analyst (Accounting and Financial Analysis): Analyzing financial data, preparing management reports, and supporting accounting processes with an accent on reconciliations, GAAP compliance, and month-end close activities. Focus on identifying financial variances, improving accounting processes, and supporting budgeting and forecasting.

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $21.63–$31.25 per hour

What you will do

Analyze financial data and prepare accurate management reports.
Support month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Provide insights into financial performance and variances.
Collaborate on accounting process improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in accounting or financial analysis is preferred.
