Senior Employee Benefits Analyst

Location: Remote position based out of Tampa, Florida, United States

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead complex renewal analyses across medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, and disability benefit programs.
• Evaluate claims experience, utilization trends, carrier proposals, financial performance, risks, and cost drivers.
• Develop and execute RFP processes, compare carrier proposals, and support carrier negotiations.
• Create and present financial and management reports, renewal analyses, and recommendations to client committees and leadership.
• Support strategic benefit plan design, vendor evaluations, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor analysts, review deliverables for quality, and collaborate with consultants, client services, carriers, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, economics, business administration, public health, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, analytics, brokerage, or consulting.
• Advanced experience with renewal and financial analysis, claims and utilization reporting, RFP development, and carrier evaluations.
• Knowledge of fully insured and self-funded benefit plans and employee benefits regulations, including ACA and COBRA.
• Active state-issued 2-15 license.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, experience with large datasets, strong presentation skills, and the ability to manage priorities independently.
