Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) Financial Manager

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado; daily on-site work in a DoD Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Manage and analyze classified budget execution in coordination with organizational leadership, project officers, and external partners.
• Prepare, coordinate, and transmit funding documents across multiple funding streams, appropriations, and partner organizations.
• Analyze spend plans and component requirements, develop reporting and real-time decision-support tools, and recommend reconciliations.
• Lead recurring resource-utilization reviews, identify budget risks and trade-offs, and support must-pay decisions.
• Collect, validate, and update financial execution data in budget databases and customized analytical tools; monitor and forecast spending.
• Support unfunded requests, requirement prioritization, briefings, memorandums, position papers, and documentation for government clients.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of practical experience with Department of Defense or Intelligence Community financial management tools, products, and decision-support processes.
• Expertise in DoD budget planning, obligation and expenditure plans, fiscal-year execution monitoring, and reporting to higher headquarters.
• Extensive knowledge of the federal budget lifecycle for DoD or Intelligence Community acquisition and sustainment programs, including travel and government purchase card policies.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, plus Advana, CCaR, DEAMS, PIEE, WAWF/EDA, and Power BI.
• Experience with ASARS, DoD EDS, DTS, IDECS, SAFES, and Air Force accounting procedures.
• U.S. citizenship, an active or obtainable TS/SCI clearance, and consent to a Counterintelligence polygraph are required; active TS/SCI with CI polygraph is preferred.
