Program Controller Manager (Government Contracting)

What you will do

• Lead the program control function, covering forecasting, labor planning, financial reporting, profitability analysis, pricing support, and program performance management.
• Develop and improve program control policies, forecasting methodologies, financial models, dashboards, reporting standards, and business processes.
• Partner with Program Managers to monitor revenue, labor, funding, backlog, cost-to-complete, profitability, forecast accuracy, and performance variances.
• Build workforce planning models, labor forecasts, utilization metrics, and staffing projections for contract execution and business growth.
• Lead pricing support for federal procurements, including labor modeling, indirect cost application, cost volumes, profitability analysis, pricing strategy, and proposal reviews.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Program Control personnel while coordinating with Contracts, Security, Human Resources, and Program Managers on operational and financial risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, program control, government contract pricing, corporate finance, or related financial management within government contracting.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, government contract pricing principles, indirect rate structures, cost accounting, and financial management practices.
• Experience supporting CPFF, CPAF, FFP, T&M, and IDIQ contracts, as well as cost volumes, pricing models, and labor rate strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, including KPI tracking and data-driven decision-making, with very strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Currently holds or must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
