What you will do

• Develop intelligence-based analytical models and tools for threat ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missile systems.
• Build aerodynamics, mass properties, propulsion, guidance, navigation, and control inputs and modules.
• Characterize missile performance variation and uncertainty and perform design trade studies.
• Generate and evaluate digital trajectory data using Six Degrees-of-Freedom simulation tools.
• Support development of a high-fidelity digital flight simulation environment.
• Document and present technical work to internal and external customers while researching improved modeling techniques.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience with missile-system analysis and modeling, including flight dynamics, vehicle performance, propulsion, aerodynamics, guidance, navigation, control, or flight-test data analysis.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and/or Python, plus strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with C++.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
