Location: Remote; hiring is limited to AL, AK, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, or WI. Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment and occasionally travel for training or meetings may be required.

What you will do
- Provide expert-level analytics and financial oversight for business operations, resource planning, and performance measurement.
- Lead overhead and G&A planning, strategic financial management, and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models supporting strategic initiatives, business planning, and long-term financial objectives.
- Analyze financial results and variances to identify performance trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Prepare and present financial reports to business area and subsidiary leadership while coordinating with Contracts, Program Management, subsidiaries, and corporate entities.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes and mentor junior and intermediate analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or a related field; 10 years of related experience is required without a degree.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare reports and projections.
- Experience building and maintaining complex financial models and improving modeling, forecasting, and financial insights with financial technology.
- Advanced proficiency with financial software and ERP systems, plus advanced understanding of profit and loss statements, working capital, and cash flow.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Government authorizations.
Nice to have
- Aerospace and defense, U.S. Department of Defense, NASA, government contracting, or related industry experience.
- FAR, DFARS, and Cost Accounting Standards compliance experience.
- Experience with large U.S. Government engineering and manufacturing development or production programs.
- International business experience, preferably with the United Kingdom, and a related master’s degree.
- CFA or CPA certification, public auditing experience, and advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills.
