Oncology Strategy Director (Biopharma)

Location: Remote within the United States; availability for Pacific Time Zone working hours may be required during periods of high activity.

What you will do

• Lead strategic, cross-functional projects commissioned by Development leadership.
• Develop annual therapeutic area strategies and support oncology portfolio planning.
• Conduct technology assessments, landscape evaluations, risk assessments, and cross-portfolio analyses.
• Support scientific collaborations and coordinate partnership-related projects with academic partners.
• Manage global external communications and represent Development with external stakeholders.
• Advise Development leadership and lead ad hoc strategic initiatives in ambiguous situations.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of healthcare business experience, or a master’s degree and 7 years, or a bachelor’s degree and 9 years.
• Strong knowledge of the biopharma industry, pharmaceutical development, translational sciences, and R&D processes.
• Experience in strategy, management consulting, finance, or corporate strategy; eight or more years of strategy experience preferred.
• Oncology R&D experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Strong cross-functional communication, leadership, research, synthesis, and executive presentation skills.
