What you will do

• Manage inpatient social work staff and determine staffing assignments across the Main and Saints campuses.
• Supervise 8–10 social workers, provide clinical guidance on complex cases, mentor staff, and address performance concerns.
• Oversee scheduling, caseload prioritization, documentation audits, annual reviews, productivity data, and coverage needs.
• Coordinate patient and family social work services, case assessment, treatment planning, and connections to community resources.
• Act as the hospital liaison to government agencies, healthcare providers, post-acute facilities, and local social service organizations.
• Develop performance improvement initiatives, incident debriefing processes, student internship coordination, and social work training programs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential.
• Seven years of post-Master’s social work experience.
• At least five years of acute-care hospital social work experience and/or experience in management or shift supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interdisciplinary and administrative settings.
• Strong knowledge of clinical social work, case management, healthcare policies, community resources, and patient needs assessment.
