RN Manager, Case Management (Healthcare)

Salary: $104,580–$127,820 per year, plus eligibility for variable pay

What you will do

• Lead and oversee the case management and utilization management group, including operations, communications, issue escalation, and resolution.
• Implement strategic and operational goals, supporting plans, policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
• Manage staff development, recruiting, performance expectations, training, recognition, and counseling.
• Mentor case management and utilization management associates through complex or unique cases.
• Track, analyze, interpret, and report group performance, cost, risk, productivity, and quality metrics to leadership.
• Conduct audits, address performance gaps, and provide direction for ad hoc projects requested by senior management.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts licensure appropriate to the position is required; additional state licenses are a plus.
• For registered nurses, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Three to five years of RN supervisory and/or management experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of case management and utilization management processes, programs, services, policies, trends, and business implications.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, flexibility, self-discipline, and strong productivity skills.
• Exceptional communication, writing, presentation, negotiation, and information technology skills.

Nice to have

• Additional state licensure.
• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Bilingual communication skills.
• Certifications or professional credentials such as CCM, LICSW, LMHC, or BCBA, where appropriate to the position.
