Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: Aurora, Colorado, United States; no remote or telework allowed

Salary: $110,204.91–$191,624.96 per year

What you will do

• Generate, execute, and document engineering tests for end-to-end operational systems.
• Monitor enterprise data processing and associated infrastructure to detect errors and system issues.
• Analyze testing results, system performance, data accuracy, and operational trends.
• Identify degradations, support notifications to government stakeholders, and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and manage discrepancy reports and trouble tickets through resolution, verifying that fixes are satisfactory.
• Plan and coordinate tests around outages, events, system deliveries, and enterprise engineering activities.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience, master’s degree with 6–8 years, or PhD with 3–5 years.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of the intelligence community domain, user needs, and operational environments.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the National Intelligence Community.
• Technical degree in physics, electrical or systems engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Ability to incorporate AI into daily functions.
• Knowledge of Python, Xmidas, Git, Confluence, and Jira.
