Planning & Performance Business Analyst, Conferences (AI)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; hybrid work environment

Salary: USD 72,000–100,000 gross annual base salary, plus an annual bonus or role-based incentive plan.

What you will do

• Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting across the Conferences portfolio.
• Manage operational reporting, KPI tracking, and budget reporting for revenue, marketing, and operations.
• Analyze commercial, operational, marketing, and financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Build analytical models for planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
• Prepare executive-level analytics, presentations, and business reviews for senior leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on business improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, data quality, and ad hoc analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business analytics, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in business analysis, finance, analytics, consulting, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, including data modeling and visualization.
• Experience analyzing large datasets, developing forecasts and analytical models, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, attention to detail, and data-quality skills.
• Ability to use AI and emerging analytics technologies to improve workflows and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, data-querying tools, or business intelligence technologies.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, performance management, or commercial and marketing metrics.
• Experience in conferences, events, media, SaaS, or another data-driven business environment.
