Quality Specialist - Gage (Automotive)

What you will do

• Perform receiving, in-process, final, and dock inspections, audits, testing, and dimensional measurements.
• Use approved inspection methods and maintain accurate inspection, test, and quality records.
• Perform gage calibration and repairs while managing gage inventory, schedules, and documentation.
• Develop and modify CMM and vision inspection programs, work instructions, and inspection documentation.
• Conduct capability studies, Gage R&R studies, PPAP submissions, annual layouts, SPC, and Measurement System Analysis studies.
• Support audits, nonconformance handling, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and quality improvement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing or quality experience preferred.
• Ability to perform inspection, testing, measurement, calibration, and quality data analysis activities.
• Ability to follow environmental, safety, customer-specific, and IATF 16949 requirements.
• Ability to communicate inspection results with production, engineering, and quality personnel.
